If we're talking box stock guns I would take the Beretta. The BHP needs better sights, the mag safety disconnected, and a trigger job before I find it acceptable.

Maybe try the short trigger if the gun is too big for your hands? What kind of grips are you using?

My Springfield Match will shoot a 0.5 MOA 3 shot group with Federal Gold Match ammo using the factory iron match sights from a bench rest. Your mileage may vary.

I don't think they will be taking away all the guns anytime in the near future. Maybe a hundred years from now but not while people like us are alive.

I had laser eye surgery done a couple years ago at the age of 47 and it has helped my shooting immensely. My groups using iron sights shrank by about 25%.

I bought mine new over a year ago from a private party. It had a few problems so I sent it back to Kahr Arms for repair under warranty. The front barrel band kept coming off after a few rounds, the rear sight was loose and the trigger was very heavy and gritty. The bolt and slide assembly...

I voted S&W 686. Like everyone else I prefer the older Smiths. I think they are better looking and have better triggers. Plus their resale value holds up very well. Rugers may be a little more durable but that's not an issue for me.

Interesting, but the gun itself is too big and heavy to be a practical concealed carry gun which I would assume its purpose to be with the low profile fixed sights. If that is it's purpose the hammer should be bobbed too.
