Eric Holder: We need to "brain wash people..."

As a Democrat with no Party I recognize anymore I understand and support this statement. The "truth" is that no Party speaks for the majority middle anymore. We are besieged on all sides by the absurd ideals of the far left and right.. It's a damn shame.

    Rossi 357 mag snub.

Weeeellll.. I have the Rossi 641 2.5in barrel in .357 and with 158grain .357 rounds it is a kitten. The gun is cheap, no question, but the grip design is stellar. Now granted I'm a big guy and very familiar with high power pistols, but just the same I was stunned at how easy the Rossi was to...

I'll bet that is fun to shoot..

Rossi offers a pretty darn good warranty.. I'd send it back and let them sort it out. -Peter

    Hunter or Paper Puncher

This needs a "both" category.. I am 95% paper puncher, but I hunt every so often to keep the skill set.. -Peter

    Snubbie "tactical" accuracy?

My Rossi .357 in 2.5in barrel form is surprisingly accurate. As noted, lethal accuracy out to 30ft is a safe bet, but then I practice quite a bit. -Peter

What is the last gun that you bought?

Rossi Circuit Judge Rossi .357 2" barrel The painful CA 10 day is underway. The Circuit judge is just too interesting not to own. The 2in .357 falls into the "what the hell, why not" category..

    The .44 decision..

And you did.. Cool.. For me it's a question of the two Rugers.. I love my other 4 Ruger pistols and am looking to add to the family.. -Peter

    The .44 decision..

Tell me about the grip on that SRH please.. Who makes it? Because that really, surprisingly, changes the look.. I like it. -Peter

    The .44 decision..

Ok so I've had a chance to shoot the two original revolvers.. and of those two made a choice.. Then I had the chance to shoot the Super redhawk, and while I still think it's ugly it's growing on me.. So.. Round two.. This.. I'd put the Hogue grip on it.. Or the Super Redhawk in .44 with...

    How do you recover?

I agree that there is no "badge of honor" element to this.. But.. But, stuff happens. I look at it along the lines of the old adage, from my other hobby "There are only 2 kinds of motorcycle riders - Those that have crashed, and those that will crash". I have owned and maintained firearms...

    The .44 decision..

This is a tough call.. But there is something about that 7.5in Redhawk that is really drawing me in that direction. I love my .357 Blackhawk, so I think a .44 version would be sweet.. but I've put a few hundred rounds down range through a friends 5.5in barrel .44 Redhawk and I love that too...

    The .44 decision..

In CA shooting someone is a high risk activity even if they are in your house sodomizing your cat, while holding you at gun point.. I'd like to know how the difference between DA and SA plays any part in the after action risk. Do you have any details? (edit: That you'd like to share in a thread...

    The .44 decision..

Doing with it? Well, I think I'll probably shoot it.. :) I am not a "purpose" gun owner.. I collect them because I love guns, period. I don't regularly hunt, nor do I compete in any way. I just enjoy being an accurate and competent shooter. My guns are bought because they appeal to me in some...
