Tell me about the grip on that SRH please.. Who makes it? Because that really, surprisingly, changes the look.. I like it.

In the late 1990's I used to shoot 100 yds with a Redhawk and kept them all in 6 inch circles using a scope off bags. Nice long range handgun with 7.5 barrel.

I own several S&W 629's and I love em. But I also like my 5 1/2" Super Blackhawk. For me, a long barrel, while accurate for longer range, isn't necessary. Anyway, my two cents.

That is the stock grip. That particular pistol was manufactured in the late '80s, and that is what came on them at that time.

Get the regular Redhawk.

Redhawk. Gives you the double action option and is more comfortble to shoot, for me anyway. Hope you have fun with whatever you get!
