    12ga sts hulls

Bomb Dropper, when you insert the wad into the hull seat it deeper to make more room for the shot. Try varying amounts of wad pressure until the crimp dishes in a little and it won't pop open. With some hull/wad combinations I have to almost crush the wad just a little, drop the shot on the...

    Problem with S&W Model 64

Re-edited post #14 on this thread to make more clear. Also Duns, the "hand" is the piece that comes up catching the ratchet star on rear of cyl. and turns it. Like a hand turning it, so they call it the hand.

    Problem with S&W Model 64

Well, without mentioning a brand name, let me tell you what I diagnosed in the one I have that will lock up occasionally. Very unsafe condition due to it being "hot", cocked, and won't do anything. Can't even open the cyl. Here's what I found out since I could not duplicate the failure with...

Help me with a .22 mag queation, please.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, so I will. Another item to remember is that the convertible revolvers with the magnum cylinders also have a .224 barrel diameter instead of the usual .223, so they are really sized for the magnum cartridge and not ideally for the regular .22's.

What is the most deadly .22LR round?

I'd go with Velocitors or Quick Shok's myself, also both very accurate.

Do I need a digital Scale?

I like the beam/balance scale for trickling up to max. loads. Can't seem to bring myself to trust a digital for that. Hard-headed or old fashioned I guess, he he. But if you want a set of digital scales to play with, midsouthshooterssupply.com has one on sale right now for $24.99. May even...

    243 loads

layusn1, was wondering how you get the small rifle size primer to stay in the case. Maybe a typo? I used to load .243 with imr4350 and a 75gr. hornady HP. That combination was a one-holer in my Rem. 700. 46.0gr. of imr4350 was the powder charge, with any large rifle primer I used.

My new 6.5wsm, now I need load info.

buckskinner, the only place I've seen data for them is on ammoguide.com but you must belong to the site to see the actual loads. But it's well worth it as they have loads for 568 cart's/ over 12,700 loads. Also have diagrams, comparison capabilities (either visually or ballistically), a...

    Mossberg choke wrench

ZeSpectre, if you bought it new there should have been one with it. They are steel and have two sizes on them so as to fit the overbored versions, assuming yours is a 12 ga. I've seen them in our local Walmart's and some of the sporting catalogs, also on Mossy web site and havlinsales.com site...
