I always carry in or out of the house. Find a gun and holster you are comfortable carrying.
If your kids are of age you ought to take them shooting. Satisfy their curiousity and gain a shooting partner.

I got my Georgia Firearms License the begining of September. I do not carry, yet. Funds are tight and probably will get tighter in the next 4-5 months.
But when funds are better I'll pocket carry an LCP or Kel-tec 380 due to attire. I am of the belief that one should carry every waking hour...
