With no offense, they have a mixed reputation for reliability. YMMV.

I have one and I suggest you spend your money on something else...Every problem you can think of...FTE,FTF,stovepipe,etc. with every ammo I've tried...On the plus side,it does make a good paperweight however.

pt22

i have one that took me about 300 rounds, playing with the feed lips before i could do a whole mag without issues....then i bought a new spare mag, and had to start over with that one....at best 95%....not a gun i would trust my life to carry....maybe for backup...gpr

Hmm... I can't think of any .22 pistol I would carry to trust my life with... unless I absolutely had to... but then, it would by my Ruger MKIII... :D

Leave it alone Mine in less than 50 rounds has been back to factory. Broken 2 sets of the cheap plastic grips. Has about every kind of jam possible Go buy a Beretta. I have 3 and they work fine . Taurus is a dam poor copy.

Steve, I went down to Wild West Traders today. They had the Taurus PT22 and the Beretta p21 on hand. I have to tell you that after checking them both out I had to go with the Beretta. I had been told that the Taurus and the Beretta were the exact same gun and they are not... just similar. So like I said I got the Beretta. I'll post a range report in the next few days.
