I have found nothing that beats my 8+1 3914DAO. The strikers seem pretty silly in comparison.
I added a Wilson Combat P365XL grip module with tungsten weights to my XL, finding I liked the "more grip" it provides.
Both, actually. The grip swells and has more of a beavertail. It makes the grip feel a bit larger in the hand which for me is good. The front and back straps are very aggressive (like sandpaper). The sides are grippy but not sharp which I am glad for against skin. Now that is interesting! What does "more grip" mean? More girth or better texture?
Bought an Equalizer and am happy with it. I tried it and the 365 and could not see any difference so I put a few hundred in my pocket and bought the Equalizer.

Yes but with the Sig the upgrades are available from many vendors and you can install of change them easily enoughLocal to me, the Equalizer with 3 mags is $499 and the Sig P365XL with 2 mags is $599. Of course, the Sig can get even more expensive with the available "upgrades".
The "lengthy XL?"It conceals a little easier than the lengthy XL.
The time is coming that I want to replace my 14 year old Glock 36 with something that is easier to rack the slide. At age 59, I still have enough hand strength for the G36, but I'd like to get something that would ride with me for another 14 years or more.
...as much as I appreciate Glocks, I really want my next pistol to point like the P365, CZ75, 1911, etc. And I'm discounting the CZ75s (already own one) due to me wanting a larger grip area on the slide.
The PX4 Compact is worth consideringBeretta PX4 Compact Carry? I am very impressed with the Langdon Tactical version. Plus, it has a hammer which I prefer and g-model decocker.
Same here, shot "bigger" as I posted.Yes indeed. My neighbor has one and he let me shoot it some time ago. It shot better for me than I expected.
The S&W EZ .380 is definitely easy to rack, but the P-365 isn't very hard IMHO. The EZ has a nice trigger and shoots well. The Equalizer was totally off my radar. Interesting.
I didn't like the 365 with the 10 round mags when it came out, not enough grip for me to hang onto and hit the same place twice in a row.
Then they had the Tacpac which had 3 of the XL 12 round mags with spacers, that was better so I bought it.
Shooting it was no problem, kept pinching my palm on mag changes though.
Picked up a Sig XL grip mod and a Hogue sleeve and don't have that issue anymore.
Bought an XL slide assy and a Romeo zero to try out with it.
Sold that off, I like the 365 XL grip and 365 slide much better.
Now you can just buy the FCU and plop it in few different grip mods, plastic and aluminum.
Few more options for the slide now too.
