I have both. Burris FFII 2-7x, clear bright glass, solidly built (heavier too). The only think I don't like is that to zoom, you turn the whole ocular piece, I can't use flip up.. and I like flip up... but good glass, forever warranty, sold product.
The Redfield is Revolution 3-9x, good...
...be able to find a new or used Leupold at this price range.
Case in point, your $400 can buy you very nice scopes (none mine, just data points):

Knowing what I know now, I would buy CW9. I have medium hand and the PM9 grip is just too short to have a good grip. To add a Pearce grip extension will make the very close to the grip length of CW9 anyway. Do not worry on MIM slide lock, if you don't like it, you can replace it with a P9...
Dulvarian, I have two 452 both came with factory gunk... took me ~20+ passes before the opatches are clean. But the P-01 is very easy.. and I used brake cleaner.
Obviously handgun barrels are much shorter and much easier to clean than rifle barrels anyway...
I guess you are referring to CZ 75D? they have a few versions of "compact" in 75D series, you need to make sure which is which ... I bought my first CZ 4~5 weeks ago, so I'm a newbie to CZ, but I'm liking it. It is a euro version of "P-01" I bought, which is stamped as 75D Compact. ...
Unbelievable mind set ..... look around your home.... you have bought items made by communist Chinese, by the imperial Japs and by the 3rd reich...
Are people nowadays stupid or what? Back to my hide....
REALLY ???? My PM9 has ~700 rds primarily cheapo WWB and Remington from Wally world.. zero jammo zero FTF, zero FTE.
Don't call me fan-boy, coz I'm not a fan of Kahr .. but fact is fact.
none what so ever here... I have no issue with their "policies", I just don't believe they have a solid quality system in place. As I stated, my PM9 continues to be flawless, now ~700 round down range, and I will keep it for warm summer light clothing days.. I just don't plan to buy another...
Are you my lost twin, Killchain???? :D
I have both and my PM9 spends most time in the safe .. or on days I have to tuck my shirt in.. P-01 is now my EDC.
My PM9 shoots straight and true, no jam, no FTF, only issue was peeling of Ni Plating (chamber) which Kahr replaces it (twice) without...
I recently bought my 1st CZ.. a 75D (Euro version of P0-1), came with two 14 round mags. ~500 rounds and zero issue. The rubber grip has great ergo, shoots better than I can. The grip may be a tad big for small hands, but hold one or try shoot one to be sure... there are also thinner grip...
To be precise: yes. Standard K9 are equipped with "NYPD trigger" which is, reported, just a tad longer than the "Elite" trigger found in all polymer Kahr.
Some claimed that they cannot tell the different. me no comment coz I have not even seen a K9 in person, let alone pulling the...
Agreed, no gain to pay more for a PM9, if carry mode is IWB.
Do not agree on the price difference.. my plain jane PM9 was ("only") $575 in Sept 2009, while CW9 was $420, so, is far from "almost double". There are places selling it for less, too. You might be looking at a diamond black...
I have a PM9 , it is my EDC, currently speaking. If I'd do it all over again... and if I'm fixed on Kahr and would not consider any other, I'd go with P/CW 9.
Especially if it is NOT intended for pocket carry, the extra length in P/CW made absolutely NO different in conceal IWB carry (just get...
yes, very likely CZ will come ahead between the 2 listed. OP did not list out whst is he looking for.. nor they are in the similar price point...
For one: CW9 (low $400) will be a joy to CC, then there are XD, M&P etc.. are suited for CC as well...
