So, I've seen some great photos here -- and I've tried w/ my point & shoot to take pics of my stuff. But, I just can't seem to figure out the secret --
my question is -- what is the best way to photograph firearms?
I think I've rationalized this one long enough -- I need a 21sf. I've searched and I've read and I've asked around and I've rationalzed...I just have one more step before I order my new pistol
What is the board experience w/ this pistol? I had a 21 eons ago -- blew it up w/ some bad ammo...
I've met up w/ a good bunch of shooters. We get together at least a couple times a month to talk guns usually, eat & drink too much and just be able to hang out.
The other day during our bbq, the idea of a 'club gun' came up. Maybe well all pitch in and buy something none of use could afford...
A buddy picked up a M1A on gunbroker. The serial number has the letters 'NM' in it. Buddy says the NM means it's a 'National Match' -- I say that it's like their handguns and the NM signifies it's 'Not Made' in the US. Is the truth anywhere close? :scrutiny:
TIA
I've had a 3 surgeries to the same eye and now need to re-work a couple of my rifles. I have a lever action in 45 colt that I can probably keep but have to find some lighter loads to shoot. I have another lever gun in 35 remington that probably will have to be replaced
My question is this --...
Maybe it's from not being able to shoot for the last 3 months but I've looking to add to the collection. I think I need a G21sf. I have a few 45's already, this one would kinda be my beater gun and companion to my G19 -- plus, I saw the new rendition from Glock and didn't take to the new grip...
I've had 2 recent eye surgeries, one about 10 weeks ago, one about a week. The last one was for a detached retina. I'm wondering now if I'll ever get back to my guns & to shooting.
Has anyone here had this injury & if so, how well were you able to recover?
A newly met shooting buddy says that he has a Ruger in 45 - 70 that he has been hinting with for years and states he will bring it next time out so we can try it
I've shot a long gun in 45-70 and really didn't enjoy it so this wheelgun doesn't scream out at me to give it a shot..so, my...
I frequent a few other forums. One forum has been growing in content & membership over the last few years. Recently, I've noticed a group of the members posting info that is absolutely against the law and newbie members taking it as lawful. I've tried to explain the law and that erroneous...
I need guns made in the years 1910 and 1927 -- birth years important to me. But not quite sure what was made in those years...so, what would you guys recommend from those years?
TIA
I just picked up a Speedmaster -- I don't know how old it is, I did not get a chance to shoot it first but it's just a natural pointer I couldn't refuse...plus, it was a great deal, I couldn't say no :D
So, please, school me on my new rifle
TIA
Just saw this on the news -- http://www.nbclosangeles.com/traffic_autos/transit/CHP-Pursues-Pickup-in-Diamond-Bar-Area-.html
It's gonna be a rough summer for this small PD
I have come across a Browning semi auto rifle in 22lr -- bottom eject, tube fed, seems to be well made w/ littl3 use. Asking price is $350
Seems like a nice little piece, but I've never seen or shot one and for the price I could get something nice & new. SO, what's the deal w/ these guns --...
I am 95% sure I'm getting a 22lr lever action. All I can see are positives -- no mag issues, good accuracy, w/in price range. I've asked around and the only problem I've come up with is if rounds aren't loaded properly in tube a jam might be tough to clear -- T/F?
so, what is the downside?
I was looking around for info a few nights ago re: FALs & came across a site / link that had mags for $3.75 each -- Not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, I didn't save it as a favorite :( -- so now I can't find it & I need help -- does anyone know of this link I refer to? was I just high...
I just accompanied a buddy while he put some $$ on a FAL from Enterprise Arms. They say its an original parts kit & their receiver. Might be a little late, but, what's the 411 w/ these rifles?
TIA
Quick 3 minute story on the news tonight. They stated 2 things -- first that the state of Indiana had run out of guns b/c of this current buying frenzy. Second, the reporter mentioned that Glock had released a statement that they were 100,000 units behind and won't be caught up for about 18...
