Oh great! I have to buy all "new" pre-1900 guns to shoot Cowboy Action, and now I have to buy a whole new set of guns with nothing designed before the year 2000?
How come fun costs so much? :p
.
It's not a calendar, and it is quite a disappointment.
Go to the ww.daybydaycartoon.com website to find a link to it.
And there is no refund if you think it sucks.
I'm interested in the M&P 45 "without" the mag safety.
It looks like (from looking at the DOJ accepted handguns list) only the models "with" the mag safety are legal in California.
Does anyone know if models without the mag safety are being sold in California?
Since you (the OP) mention a 20 ga, have you considered putting a Knoxx stock on it? Suppose to reduce recoil considerably.
For indoors I still prefer a shotgun, for neighbor safety (I'm in a condo, neighbors on 3 sides).
Thanks, mercop. I needed that!:D
Most responses here seem to be from those who have experienced a situation where calm action was required.
I haven't. I don't fear what many have spoken of here, as in physical threats. What I do fear is not knowing what to do.
And even in the low...
Don't forget the reloading equipment!
Good friends of my parents recently passed away, and before I found out he had been a reloader his son had thrown it all away!
What a sad waste.
I think it is a very sad commentary that so many people here think a gun to protect yourself is okay, but only for them, not for others.
Good posters, Oleg. Leave all the elements as they are. The blue plastic on the AR is correct for the desires of that age level. The cross is emblematic...
Brings up an interesting question. Why aren't there any (that I am aware of) horizontal carry strong side holsters?
That way there would be absolutely no rotation, sweeping, or even aiming! The gun would already be on target (assuming you face your target when you shoot...)
I want to be able to access the firearm with either hand. Since I am not very flexible, behind the hip is completely out of the question.
Cross draw would probably work better for me (no holster to try it with yet), but between 1 and 2 is what works best so far. Muzzle forward cant for...
Ya lost me here... in Cali they automatically come with 10 rounders (our legal max).
Where could you buy an XD with 13 rounders if 13 rounders are not legal?
I have snap-caps in my range bag.
If I wanted to identify select mags I would just put snap-caps in those mags. When I got home, I'm pretty sure I'd know which ones I had "marked". :)
Once home I'd use an engraver if I wanted permanent markings.
Surprised the Dillon calendars are not being mentioned more often.
Beautiful women, fully clothed. Beautiful guns, some with nothing on!
My boss says they violate company policy... I've told him he is out of his mind. All the other managers come down to see who it is for the current...
BullfrogKen, $65 is too cheap, true. But if it is actually a piggy-back class as described, that is merely $65 in addition to the cost of the Advanced class it is added to.
Then it might make more financial sense for the instructors.
How can you call that insignificant? Why,that's over 10% more moving parts in the XD! :neener:
Seriously, these are nice diagrams/pictures, and I appreciate the work you guys put into this.
I'd want to tell her that all Americans who believe in the Constitution support what she is doing.
Other than that, I just want to hear her talk about what she is going through to try to get this "officially acknowledged" as being legal.
I'm going to start a new business making microstamped firing pins... you select what you want them to say.
Most firing pins are user-replaceable.
Something like the "Have a Nice Day" muzzle brake...
There comes a time in many people's lives when standing up for themselves and their beliefs (in this case, the sanctity of her home) outweigh "staying out of harm's way".
Personally, I am quite impressed. One shot, one hit.
Unfortunate that her lack of training led her to believe she...
