The Frog skin wasn't at all difficult to work with. It took a little more to burnish the edges then cowhide or Elephant but it wasn't bad (I still haven't figured out how to burnish Ostrich yet).
The quality of my skins wasn't the greatest. They came to me with several rough patches where the...
I'm using the Winchester Ranger low recoil 9 pellet 00 in my HD gun. They also make this in an 8 pellet version. My thinking was, the more pellets the better. But then again, there must be a reason they make it in 8 pellets and there must be pros and cons to each version. What are the pros and...
Can you point me this? Everything I find there contradicts your statement and in fact praises the ST-T2? I don't own one but am considering one and want to get the dope on it, good or bad.
Cheers George, you threw me for a loop and had me thinking I had maybe sleep posted to this thread ;)
I read this thread hoping to get an answer to a question I have had since getting that rig. It's kinda on topic and since you were so kind to show off my rig as a good example of a BBQ rig...
I had a similar problem with the two free mags I got from the rebate. I figured out the problem when I had to diagnose the problem I was having with the two mags that came with the gun.
At about the 600 round mark (approx. 300 through each mag) the original mags were letting the 3RD from last...
When you guys mentioned it might have something to do with the leather it made me remember that i had wrapped the rig back up in the plastic that it was shipped to me in. So essentially the bullets were on the loops sealed in a bag with the leather...duh!
I still think i want to try and seal...
(short version) This isn't really a reloading question but know you guys would have an answer here. Is there a way to keep lead bullets from oxidizing while sitting exposed to the air in the loops on a holster rig?
(long winded version) I loaded up the bullet loops on my Mernickle rig with...
WOW! What else can I say besides...Thank you very much Mr. Kassnar!
I passed along your suggestions to my FFL guy and am looking forward to your PM regarding the carry handle!
I'm always on the lookout for something unique and knowing that my D-M4LE could be one of the first to have a...
Thanks guys! I have my FFL guy looking into availability and pricing on the D-M4LE. I also asked him to check into getting the A3 detachable handle from Daly. He'll get back to me tomorrow.
It seems like I read that the handles were not available separately?? I sent Charles Daly an email...
I'm not sure about the list you posted but people say Daly really did pay attention to details when they designed their AR's. Here is a list that compares features with the other major manufactures
http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=6642
Daly’s do not get a check for the FSB...
I'm sure someone else can give you the particulars as I have read the info you asked for but I cannot recall the manufactures names off hand. What I can recall from reading several hands on reviews is that while these are new they do indeed appear to be very good quality. My thinking is that...
Can you tell me what "goodies" the D-M4LE has over the D-M4? From the descriptions the only differences that stand out to me are that the D-M4LE has
Milspec diameter receiver extension with "H" buffer
Chrome lined 4150 barrel with a 1x7 twist rate
Whereas the D-M4 lists a
Chrome lined...
My next purchase will be a Daly Defense AR-15/M4 style rifle, please help me decide which one.
Consider me a total newb to this type of gun because I do not have the energy or time to learn everything there is about the AR type rifle. I will be using this for mostly punching holes in paper...
