I live in Houston, last night I came home late and stopped at a gas station for some Arizona ice tea. I parked my car at the pump and my friends were sitting inside. As I came up to the gas station window to buy a drink. Three black guys came up and to me and said, "n-word, you need to buy me...
So 1911 has a legendary status in the semiauto world.
Which revolver has a legendary status?
Let's break it down to which SA revolver has legendary status?
Which DA revolver has legendary status?
Can someone tell me a fair price for a smith wesson model 66-5 in 4 inch barrel?
Also, it is going to be my first revolver, what should I look for when I go pick it up? It's a used gun in what seems to be good condition, let me know guys.
Also how is a 66-5 different than the no dash or...
Hi,
I have a stoeger coach gun for a long time now. I always wanted to put a sling on it, but I have no idea how or if it can be done. Anyone know how to put a sling on a coach gun?
Thank you so much!
Why do some gun range only let you shoot brass ammo and not steel?
I go to TopGun indoor range in Houston, but they always do an ammo check before they let you in. If you have steel ammo, then they take it up and give it back to you at the end of your session. Just curious, why do they not...
When I go through some online classified, I always see people say "I have a S&W XXX no dash!"
What does it mean to have no dash after the model number? Is that a good thing?
Sometimes people will say I have a SW pre-locked! What is prelocked??
The discussion is not to imagine what world would be like without 1911... but the question is as follows.
If 1911 never existed, what would be the current best handgun that shoots 45acp?
BRAINSTORM!
Well... so many threads ago I mentioned a friend that pointed an "assumed" empty gun at me and his reason was that if I handed him a gun, it has to be empty, why else would I hand it to him... anyways, that was last time.
Today, the same friend asked if we were gonna hit the gun range again...
So strictly handgun shooting, how long do you look at your sights each time you take a shot?
When I shoot, I usually confirm target, lift my arm up, look down the sight to align and fire! Align the sight maybe take a split second then I pull the trigger.
What are some drills that you do...
What do you guys think about this? I am trading a S&W M&P9c for one. Are there things to look out for? Do you already see any issue with the gun? Are the parts original?
Edit: I just looked at a lot of pictures of combat commanders and it seems the serial number should be closer to the...
I am bored and I thought maybe I buy a beatup gun and turn it into a pimp gun.
Here is what I want to know, if I spray paint a gun gold... will it look plain ugly?
I am thinking of putting in glass beads for the sights... just stick on diamond looking...
which gun should I do this...
So there are Glock lovers and haters, I don't see many in the neutral stand.
Most people that loves Glock name its reliability, durable coat, simplicity, etc.
What are reasons why people don't like the GLOCK??
Anyone know much about Colt 1903 Hammerless that shoots 32 acp?
I spotted one in a local ad, and I wonder what to look for as far as markings, conditions, any mechanical aspect to pay attention to when I buy one.
Hi,
Saw an ad on texasguntrader selling a Colt 1903. Anyone know about these guns? the link is http://texasguntrader.com/index.php?a=2&b=81080
Anything I should be looking for? I don't plan to shoot it much, just want to see if they have collecting value.
I was browsing on youtube today and saw videos of these guys recording their girlfriend or wife shooting their high caliber rifles. Some of these videos are successful while the ladies in a few videos had gotten injured because they did not secure the weapon properly in their hand and shoulder...
I took a friend to the gun range maybe a year ago and he was a horrible shot. He's a very good friend and shown interest in guns, and he's been thinking about getting one.
Anyways, he came over yesterday and I show him a few guns. I knew I was going to show him my guns so I had emptied them...
I was driving home and thought... some people bring a bigger size gun to their CCW exam, but when they carry, they will carry a smaller gun.
So generally we get better accuracy from a larger handgun, wouldn't that make open carry safer than conceal carry?
I thought I start a discussion on...
