I've had a hankering for a lever gun for years and am going to finally pull the trigger on picking one up. It will just be a plinker, and possible future suppressor host. With so many options out there from Henry, Mossberg, Marlin etc etc and no real experience with levers I don't even know...
Bought a Lone Wolf barrel over the weekend and converted my Gen3 31c to .40cal. I like the .357sig, but ammo prices for it are insane. Interestingly I actually shoot the .40cal better, the recoil is more of a push, than a snap like with the .357. I've got a non-extended, non ported barrel on...
I switched my EDC from a KelTec PF9 to a fullsize Glock 31, needless to say the Glock is heavier. I am using an Uncle Mikes 1.5" belt and Supertuck holster, this combo worked great for the lighter PF9 but with the Glock I am getting a little more sag than I'd like.
I'd prefer to stay with...
I recently bought a clean used Glock 31 and noticed that it has Trijicon night sights on it, however they are very dim. Almost to the point of not glowing at all in the dark. Is there anything that can be done to "refresh" them or do they simply wear out over time?

I am mulling the idea of building an AR with the intention to use it for Highpower rifle competition..eventually, and just for fun.
I know most of the accuracy (other than the shooter) comes from a good barrel, sights and somewhat less so the upper receiver. Does the lower matter much?
Narrowed my next CCW piece down to either an XD9 compact, or XD9 subcompact. Plan to carry IWB in a Supertuck. Specs show that the height is only .25" apart, with the XD9c being 5" tall and the XD9sc at 4.75. I've handled both and they both fit my hand great.
Is the 1" longer barrel worth...
Anyone CCW a fullsize USP 9mm? I found one local for a great price and am thinking of picking it up for occasional carry, I prefer IWB and have had great luck with the Supertuck in the past. I've done some research and its only marginally larger than a G19 which seems to be a popular carry...
Thinking about picking up an SKS for a range toy. The local shops all have several ranging in price from 250-350. What should I look for in an SKS?
Thanks!
I had GREAT luck getting a custom Kydex sheath made by one of the members here on the forum (Sam1911) and was wondering if anyone here can make a very slim, low profile OWB holster for a Kel Tec PF9?
I am in the market for a new knife, specifically a fixed blade. Here in NC we cannot legally carry in National Forests (or State Parks) and my wife and I do a lot of camping in some fairly remote places.
I currently have two smaller CRKT folding knifes and am really happy with them, thinking...
I have an older Mossberg 5500 MkII semi auto as my do it all shotgun. I keep in under the bed in "cruiser ready" condition with 3 in the magazine, 0 in the chamber.
Just wondering if its alright to store this gun with a round racked into the chamber, saftey ON?
I would imagine in a HD...
Will the magazine from the standard 380 Thunder work in the CC? I was handling them both at the gun shop the other and will be purchasing one or the other for carry very soon. I like the CC, but like the pinky extension on the magazine of the standard...
The only reason I ask is Bersa's website...
Picked this baby up today to use for sporting clays. It has the 26" barrel for 2.75 shells. Its in really great shape, I am going to order up an extended IC choke tube for clay use.
Any special I need to know about these?
I've read they are not the most sought after shotguns but I got a good...
Anyone have experience with the SAR-SA semi-auto that is imported by EAA? I am looking for an inexpensive 28" semi-auto for occasional sporting clay use, and this one caught my eye

for the first time yesterday and am totally hooked! What a riot!
I was using my 18.5" HD shotgun which you can imagine is not ideal at all, I did manage to hit quite a few though :)
What would you guys recommend for an inexpensive (<300) shotgun to use for sporting clays? I know that's not...
