I switched my EDC from a KelTec PF9 to a fullsize Glock 31, needless to say the Glock is heavier. I am using an Uncle Mikes 1.5" belt and Supertuck holster, this combo worked great for the lighter PF9 but with the Glock I am getting a little more sag than I'd like.

I'd prefer to stay with nylon, and am looking at the Wilderness Instructor belt. Is the Wilderness belt stiffer than the Uncle Mikes? Looking for something to help support the weight better. Any other recommendations?

Bull hide with the internal stiffner from The Beltman. You wont be disappointed.

And if you run out of ammo, you can beat someone to death with it.

If you Luke nylon look at the bison designs heavy duty (although the light duty may work for a glock) last chance belt. Its what I'm using until I can afford a nice leather belt. I carry a full-size 1911 and its perfectly sufficient, made in the US, and not bad looking (if you like nylon)

Mitch Rosen Express Line Belts. I have one right now, and have had it for over 7 years. It just keeps getting broken in better and better. (I used to carry a USP .45 full size with no sagging)

Honestly, there's your problem. A nylon belt will never have the rigidity of a leather belt (unless you start wearing a nylon duty belt). Save up to get a belt from Beltman, then never have to buy a gun belt again... unless you want a different color.

Very tempting. I keep reading great reviews of them.

Turns out I live about 10 minutes from The Beltman! I'll be going with one of his belts for sure :)

I find the polymer liner for the Wilderness Instuctor Belt provides plenty of rigidity for carrying even full size handguns. Just as good as a good leather gun belt if that's the way you want to go.

Belt

Check out the 5.11 Operator Belt. It is stiff, 1 3/4", velcro, has a metal buckle you can hook a carabiner to and repel from if you had to.

I've been using a 5.11 nylon trainer belt for about 8 years now and it's still in great shape. It gives great support for any gun I might carry. I recently had a very nice custom leather belt made that is very comfortable and sturdy but I'm still wearing my 5.11 95% of the time.

I've got a couple of the "instructor" type belts. They don't work as well for me as hoped. Even a properly sized belt overlaps and gets in the way of positioning my holster(33-34" waist). The tag end overlaps almost to the place I need to set my holster.

Try moving the buckle over one belt loop to the left.
