Love the M10! I too have an ugly duckling, mine is a 10-5, and is my best shooter. Most people at the range, including the counter monkeys, tend to scoff when I take it out of the range bag. Then they ask to handle it, feel the balance, smoothness, etc, and I usually get an "oh....". Then...
My father has a new CD o/u (2012 maybe?). While I'm sure it doesn't have the fit and finish of a higher end double, it is certainly functional, and does well on the clays when the shooter does their part. We are purely recreational clay shooters, maybe 4 times a year, so no leagues...
I'm in 'Bodymore', so I feel your pain, chaim. The best thing I ever did for my 642/442 was a pachmayr "compac" grip. What I gave up on conceal-ability was well worth it in shooting comfort, which resulted in better shooting.
G26, its the perfect caliber for something the size, and the capacity is still good (great for its size). I really think its a great combination of concealability, shootability, and firepower...
I drank the kool-aid
Josh,
I'm shopping for the same thing. I'm looking hard at the Mueschke (sp?) and Kings. I haven't been happy with the standard Wilson type (tab going under grip).
What have you tried so far?
from what I've read, the cut in the slides of the longslide glocks is to reduce slide mass, thus sort of making "hot" ammo unnecessary.
I'd like to see the actual weights of a 17, 34, and 17L slides, I never did it when I had mine.
I thought the 12 rd mags were the extended versions in the M&Pc?
I have a G26, which will never leave. Its small, carries 10+1, shoots like a much bigger gun, and is utterly reliable.
I've not yet shot a M&Pc, but if it's anything like my full size M&P, it'll be a great carry gun.
Old thread, but I fondled a 60 Pro in the fun store today, and while its a nice revolver, I *loved* the grips, and would love a set for my J-frame.
I emailed S&W and received no response, anyone know if the grips are available without having to buy the 60 Pro?
