    GP 100; 4 inch barrel or 6

I'm with Revolverman357 on this, I've used the 6" GP100 to take a nice doe @ 63 yds. broadside with a Red dot using 180 Grain Partition Gold, dropped on the spot!

What Round do you deer hunt with??

Either a 180 grain Winchester Partition Gold .357 or 260 Grain Georgia Arms 45 Colt +P....Might also use a 300 Grain Hornady XTP-MAG .454 . I took a 140lb doe with the Winchester factory load at 63 yards broadside using a red dot scope on a GP100 6". There are hotter .357 factory loads...

Has your CCW gotten bigger, smaller or stayed the same over the years?

I voted gotten smaller...everywhere gun is P32 but I also keep a .357 snub as always real close too

.32 ACP too weak as a defensive round?

Many good posts....I have a Kel-tec .32 and enjoy it very much. It is not a weapon that I shoot hundreds of rounds through every range trip but I am confident it will hit POA when needed. I only carry FMJ 71 Grain to eliminate feeding concerns. I know it won't expand... big deal...it will penetrate!

    Buffalo Bore .357 Mag bullets

Georgia-Arms uses 158 Gold-dots and calls them deerstoppers...less money for 50 than 20 of the other folk's ammunition...I haven't use them but I hear a lot of people do...I prefer Partition Gold myself

    Blackhawk 45LC: reasonable deer load?

I recommend Georgia Arms 260 45 Colt +P for your requested hunting needs... You get 50 rounds for about the same price as 20 Corbon or Buffalo Bore...Check out their web page...I believe www.georgiaarms.com Best,Brett

    Calibre of Last Resort

Interesting thread...I was just contemplating a Ruger 10/22 in compact version w/ 25 round loaded w/mini-mags for home defense.Light weight, low recoil, low flash, lower decibels from rifle, high capacity,tru-glo sites for low light, cheap ammo for plenty of practice, decent trigger...Not that it...

    New Ruger P345DPR

Went to range this weekend to try out new pistol....what a gun!I shot a combination of WWB JHP and Remington/UMC JHP...No FTF,FTE and recoil was comparable to my CZ 75.The recoil was less than my SA 1911 Loaded Parkerized (and more accurate too!). If anyone is looking for a reliable .45ACP with...

    Need to sell...need advice

I need to sell either CZ75BD or Springfield 1911. I shoot both equally well, both feel great. I like the night sights better on the 1911 but, 9mm is cheaper to practice with (I am currently not reloading...lack time).I really don't want to part with either but, I have to (unless...I suppose I...
