Ha ha, no it doesn't glow. That was an old pic. It wears red ones now. Waiting on getting it back from the smith, got the frame hard matt chromed. Can't wait to have it back.
The old magwell was sold many moons ago. Well, took everything apart and after close inspection I have decided that the files will have to be brought out. No big deal, I've filed before so nothing new. Looks like I will have to remove some material off of the bottom of the MSH and the frame...
I'm afraid to ask if a longer magazine body exists. If that was the case I would be fine but I have never heard or read that someone has bought a longer mag body for their competition gun. I will give them a ring tomorrow and see what I am going to need to do. I do know that with competition...
OK, after closer inspection with everything dissasembled it is clear that it is nowhere close to catching the mag release. I hate to think that I have to file away at these parts to get them to work together but I guess that is the case. Sorry for wasting everyones time with this thread.
Need some help from those who have used Dawson Precision magwell and basepads for a high cap Para. Bought a Para 38 super high cap open gun about a year ago and wanted to update it's look a little. It had a S&A magwell/mainspring with standard Para pads on the mags. So I decided that I liked...
For $500.00 if you don't buy it, I will! $500.00 for a used HK USP45 is a good price. That gun looks just fine to me. You won't regret it, trust me. I would buy that gun ALL DAY LONG @ $500.00
Well, you've got me beat. I'm not a Glock guy either but last month I found myself not being able to walk away from a less than 50 round Glock 32 in .357sig. for $325.00 I am pleased with my decision to say the least.
OK, I think I've figured this out. Opened the shell casing envelope and it has two .357sig rounds in it so the 40 barrel must be thrown in by the previous owner. I'm still happy with what I've ended up with. Going to have some fun with this gun!
Scored a Glock 32 compact today as I was helping out a dealer friend at a local show. I'm not a Glock man but I couldn't help jumping on what I thought was a good deal. It came with an extra Wolf .40 S&W threaded barrel and the casing envelope in the box has both a 40 & 357 casings. My...
OK, the "idiot mark" is the usually deep scratch that occurs when reassembling a 1911. It happens when you re-insert the slide stop into the frame when the slide is attached and held with your other hand all at the same time. The scratch happens when you fail to insert the slide stop correctly...
I aquired a shotgun that has synthetic stocks that are in fairly nice condition except for some marring in the checkered areas. I know that stippling synthetic is becoming more popular but I'm not sure that it is something that I want to do with these stocks. Is there a way that a checkered...
