My G32 will not lock the slide back when it runs empty. I never had this problem before. The only way it will lock back is if I squeeze the hell out of the back-strap, but then I am inaccurate when shooting. I definitely do not limp wrist it when shooting either. I am thinking it could be the magazine or the recoil guide rod/spring. Does this sound about right to you?

Look at the mechanism and see what, if anything, isn't working:

1) Is the follower touching the slide catch?
2) Is the slide catch free to move as normal?
3) Does it lock open when you insert empty mag and manually rack slide?

The most likely possibility is that you are riding it with your thumb during shooting.

Does this happen with all of your G32 mags? You may have a worn out mag spring or springs.
