I live in California and quite honestly am not completely sure what is legal to use...ex. if I can use a .223 on deer/pigs?

For the sub moa model is it really worth it to drop extra money on a stainless? Especially if it's going to be a deer gun?

Haha yeah I think I would rather go with a 700, Tikka, or Model 70, because I don't like the fact that the Vanguard doesn't have a free float barrel. The other thing I am stuck with is on what scope. A Simmons Master Series, some form of Loopy, or an SWFA SS 3x9. I currently have a 6x42 SWFA SS...
