I recently picked up an excellent shooting Sig P6, but the grooved front strap chews up my fingers and I'd like to have the gun refinished. I was pretty set on using CCR for the refinishing despite the string of poor CS reviews I've read recently, but now I'm left wondering if there are shops...
Ask and you shall receive . . . right here is a LNIB polished stainless CZ-75B for sale right where you wanted to be price wise:

I believe he's referring to Sig's "traditional" style 1911's.

. . . it's a good suggestion, btw.
As the title indicates, I'm looking for a P6 that must be roll marked 1984 for a personal project. Are there any places I should be looking besides Gun Broker? Thanks!
I recently picked up the exact same gun you speak of. (P239 SAS G2 w/ night sights in 9mm) I have nothing negative to say about the gun so far. I was able to handle one at a local dealer before ordering it online and it's exactly what I expected. :)
Did you look at Buds? Not sure which 226 you were looking for, but they have a few under/right around $800. The P99 I've shot a few times and REALLY liked it. I thought the grip was among the most natural and comfortable I've ever felt.
/\ LOL

I came to the conclusion that the gun is just too bulky for comfortable IWB carry in my opinion and I'm going...
I don't own a PT1911, nor do I know a ton about 1911's in general, but I did find this article I found the other day interesting:

Even after reading that I'm still leaning towards my first 1911 being a Springfield...
I recently purchased my first revolver, a Taurus Tracker model 627SS6. I was fortunate enough to find one NIB for $350 and would like to spend that savings mounting up a scope. I already ordered the necessary mounting rail, but I need some advice as far as scope mounts and the scope itself. I've...
I'm in the same boat with my Stoeger Cougar .40, never any sort of malfunction. :) I can only hope and pray the PT709 I just bought performs the same way.
