What case trimmer do you use?

Giraud Triway. If I could figure out a way to mount it to my Dillon, I'd be in heaven.

Dillon Super Swage - fully converted.

Cool. Sounds like we have different opinions about it.

Dillon Super Swage - fully converted.

I own the APP. It's fine, but it's no Super Swage.

Dillon Super Swage - fully converted.

I'll take the Super Swage over the APP any day.

Myth busting - General Reloading & Handloading Discussion

Lol, I see that. What in the world? Must be the update. Or I jacked something up when quoting it.

Myth busting - General Reloading & Handloading Discussion

So will a $500 car. I'll never understand the arguments people make against people spending their own money to have nicer things.

Myth busting - General Reloading & Handloading Discussion

That myth wasn't busted. Only two specific primers are supposedly interchangeable, and even that is questionable. They work, but there are a lot more reasons to use the correct primers than not.

What do you do with brass you dont reload anymore?

Trade it for stuff I do use or give it to my buddy who also reloads.

Who's paying $110 per thousand for primers?

Everyone has to do what they need to do. I'll never tell anyone how to spend their own money. But, we are definitely coming to a point where primers will be available for less than $110 for most people who need them.

    Die recommendations

I have dies from Lee, RCBS, Dillon, Redding, and SAC. They all work. I'll just say that you get what you pay for, in that order.

Do You Measure And Plink Test Every Pistol Round?

I should 1k rounds of 9mm a month. No way I'm gauging every one.

    Swage-IT on XL750

I've reamed with a drill, used an APP, and tried the Swage It for my 750. After all that, I went with the Super Swage and it's been the best option for me. It does a better job than the other options and ends up being faster or just as fast with a few mods.

Who's paying $110 per thousand for primers?

Not really. Primers can be had for $65 or less a lot more regularly. I can still get them for under $40 when they come in. I expect that trend to continue throughout the year, barring anything unexpected. No one should be paying $110 for primers right now unless they're completely empty and...

Who's paying $110 per thousand for primers?

I do. Primers won't stay at $110/1k or anywhere close to that.

    RCBS bullet pull collet alternatives

Agreed, especially with their VIP pricing.

    RCBS dies worth a try?

They don't really make much better ammo than my Lee dies, but they're finished better and they cost me less. If you're eligible for their VIP pricing, I don't think I'd buy something from someone else if I could get it from RCBS.

I just over paid for primers

Definitely not interested in the politics. I'm talking about participation in the community. And I'm not just talking about the range. Young people are seeking out training. They're getting involved in matches. They're making their own ammo. They're seeking out knowledge. These aren't shooters...

I just over paid for primers

I shoot a lot of matches and train a lot of new shooters. Lots of young people out there, same as always.

I just over paid for primers

Am I naive, or are you maybe just a bit out of touch? Please don't take that the wrong way. I say it with nothing but positive intent, but I'm genuinely curious.

I just over paid for primers

Of course the world's changing...said every generation ever. I remember listening to the salty gunny bitching about "back in my day." I was one of those new Marines that grew up in the early Iraq and Afghanistan days. We were told we were soft and wouldn't cut it. I ignored it and rolled my...
