40 grain Sierra bullet load for 22-250?

After trying some light bullets 40, 45 Sierra SP, I came to the same conclusion, i.e., that 1:14 twist likes 50 + bullets. Like Old Dog Man, I just loaded (not shot yet) Hornady 52 gr A-max, but with 35 gr IMR4895. I will be trying 38 gr H380 next. I also had to lengthen the COL because of...

    Northwest Arkansas - outdoor ranges

How far is Bald Knob from you? Just north of Bald Knob, just west of Russell (Near hwy 67) is V.E.T.S. Outdoor Range. Really good pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc. I was up there from South of Little Rock to look it over and was impressed. Couple brothers (vets) run it on their and their family's...

Berrys plated are great bullets. I use them for all reloads because of indoor range requirements. .380, 9mm, .38, .45acp. All good stuff. $50.00 order ships free.

How light can I go with .44 special load....

Thank you all. Thanks to all for the info. Red Cent, I was there at that site. All I have left is bullseye, so that's what I am trying to build a low octane load with. All the loads at that site use other powders. Not a lot of bullseye data in my manual, but rcmodel's load looks good and...
