Help w/ Lee .380 sizing die

Just loosen the nut that holds the decapping pin in place and slide the pin down until it is 3/16" below the bottom of the die then retighten the nut. Its not uncommon that the nut holding the pin isn't completely tight when you get the die set.

    1911's

Springfield Mil Spec is a awesome $500-$600 gun in my parts... I have one that is by far my favorite, not to fancy that you don't mind changing out parts on yourself. Plus its a great range gun. Hard to go wrong with a Springfield 1911, if you want more fancy but within your limit of under a...

    Colt Detective Special

Jim K- your right, i could not imagine having to give her up if I ever had to defend myself with her, but on the flip side I would gladly give up the gun over my life any-day. She will probably be a bedside gun though to reduce the chance if holster damage and all. Bikewer- I can not imagine...

    Colt Detective Special

I picked up a like new detective special almost two weeks ago now. It looked to have been fired very little in its 39 years, it came with the black rubber Colt pachmeyer grips with golden medallions on it but to me it didn't look right. I ordered a set of badger grips in rosewood and they...

    New to me Colt DS

I agree with you wgp, I'm not into guns to make money either. I feel pretty fortunate to come across this one. blkbrd666....It was a sweet deal, good thing I have several other 1911's in my collection. I hated to part with my Sig 1911 but I think this one was worth the trade.

    New to me Colt DS

Well I stumble upon a very nice Colt Detective Special wearing a Nickel finish, the gun shows no signs of being refinished, and it shows no signs of wear. This gun has not been shot a lot as far as I can tell! The Serial number is "F577XX" as best as I can tell it is a 1974 year model. The...

Thanks for the info on the mags for $8, I have been looking and so far no luck. I ordered some of these mags this morning and they already shipped! APEX is earning many gold stars in my book. Now if I can find the muzzle brake that has the 22mm threads to attach to the FSB I will be happy.
