My girlfriend and I are going up to Johnson City (Roan Mountain) sometime in March to look around. We currently live in Ft. Myers, Florida, but we're thinking about possibly moving if we like it. Are there any good ranges or gun clubs in the area, and how is the housing market in that part of...
I've been wanting one of these for quite a while and was in my favorite gun shop the other day and he had a used, but like new one in the case. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm looking forward to it soon. Anyone have one of these to comment on. Thanks
Here it is.
I have quite a few 1911's in my safe, but have been very pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive all steel 45. It feels very nice in the hand and shoots to POA and doesn't have a problem feeding and ejecting the rounds to boot!!!
Anyone looking for a decent home...
I picked up a new CZ40P on Saturday and this has to be the worst trigger of any CZ I've ever had. I currently have a CZ75B SA and I love this gun. I put a snap cap in the 40 and added some rig grease to the sear and hammer hook and dry fired all evening, but it actually seemed to make the...
I will tell you all from the git go that I know nothing about rifles. I am a pistol shooter and collector. A friend of mine called and asked about a rifle he just bought at an auction and I said I would ask the people who may know the answers.
He said it is a Hamberg 1891, or GEW 88 rifle...
I've had several CZ's in the past and always had a good experience with them. My dealer currently has a CZ75B SA in 9mm in stock and I like the trigger pull as I'm a big 1911 fan. However, I would like to have one chambered for the 40S&W and would like opinions of those that have this gun and...
This is the two tone Taurus PT92 I got several months ago and the accompanying target I shot freehand at 15yds. I have had several Beretta's over the years and really find I like this pistol better. The frame mounted safety decocker is the main reason for this. It can be carried cocked and...
Found this on Rugers web site. Says its thinner and lighter than the current P97. Has a new polymer frame with or without rails, and will be available 1st of May. I think it looks like an improvement and might just be interested.................
I bought a parked SA milspec with the intent to send it off to a Smith for several modifications. Well I was at my local dealer yesterday when the UPS man came in with a couple of packages. He opened one and it was a Kimber TLE with everything I was going to have done to my milspec. I got it out...
Picked up a milspec a couple of weeks ago and today I picked up the WWII model with Springfields new ( US grips ) . Cleaned it and shot it when I got home, and this gun is not only very handsome, it shoots very nicely also.
The dealer I do most of my business with has a LNIB Taurus model 669, blued with 4" tube. The gun is absolutely perfect. What do you guys think this gun is worth? I don't really need it as I just bought a new Ruger GP-100, but it sure is pretty.
I used to have a GP-100 some years back and traded it for something. I have always regretted trading it off, so I got a new one today. I had looked at the S&W 686, but I have a model 60, so I wanted something a little different. These Rugers sure are built like a tank, but the trigger has...
I found this at my dealer today and just had to have it. It is in probably 90 to 95 percent condition and came with the regular barrel and a compted barrel. After cleaning, I shot it, had to adjust the rear sight, and shot it some more using ball and HP's. This pistol shoots to point of aim...
Since I gave my son my model 605 Taurus as part of his Christmas present, It left me without a 357 snub. I was trying to decide between the stainless Taurus 605 and the S&W 60. I ended up getting the 60 and must say I'm very happy with it so far. As many of you know recoil is brutal with hot...
