I call H&R today .They say no way the 444 has a taper to it ,plus the brass is .015 thicker then the 44 mag .Could damage the firearm or you . So I got my answer NO DON"T DO IT

I was told yes but the jump from the bullet will hurt the group. But you would have to try it to see . I would think it will be ok it the same case as all 44s

Lyman is the only one making the 54 .I have 3 .! is a trade rifle ,1 CVA ,1 TC Hawkins .All three on my loads with a real bullet is 90 gr of fffg. This load does a great job killing deer.I would use this combo on anything

I have a 243 an a 270 .I don't like the 243 much a buddy of mine use the caliber a lot love it till he started to loose deer .He told me to get a 25-06 or 257 Roberts .Also I am new here so this is first post Thanks Highboots
