    WW1 load for .303 British

Thank you! That will get me started. If the British switched to the Mk VII in 1910, is it safe to assume that the Commonwealth did too? Meaning was their .303 ammo uniform so that, lets say the Australians could use ammo from the British and vice versa. Hmmm, who supplied it anyway? The rounds...

Great, do we know what that would mean today? Powder? Quantity?

    WW1 load for .303 British

Who can help? I am trying to duplicate the load for the .303 British as used during World War 1. Were there differences for rifle and machine gun loads? Different loads as used by British and let's say Australian troops? Bullet weighs, shape, powder? Any publications recommended that have...

14000 CZ Scorpion 30-rds Mags on backorder...

Anyone know the background on this? The 30 round mags have not been available for a while, a source on the 'inside' told me they are backordered with 14K to go... The 20 rounders are available.

    Hunting in Germany/Bavaria

Had this invitation for a Boar hunt in Germany. Needed to send my Hunter Education card (Texas) and passport pictures. Now the local office there says this is not for 'Americans' unless Military stationed in Germany. I remember some hunts being auctioned off at a SCI dinner to take place in...

    Is the HK P2000 gone?

The German version of the Heckler & Koch website does not list the P2000 or P2000SK anymore, HK-USA still does. Wonder if they plan to stop making them, now that the P30SK is coming out. Think the little P2000SK looks better than the P30SK.

How to revove sharp edges off new guns

A lot (or most) new guns have very sharp edges. S&W PPK, Charter Arms and the new Remlin 1894. One could shave with the S&W Walther copy. I hear that even the new Colt 1911 have the same issue, for lack of whatever step is needed to prevent that. How can one remove those edges without sanding...

Shocking: Charter Arms Pitbull, Accuracy / Grips

Yes, a bit snappy but still controllable, not worse than a small .40 semi. Great idea to fix the old by bedding...will look into this. Ordered the black boot grips directly from CA, if thos don't work I need to go back to the small rubber one...

Shocking: Charter Arms Pitbull, Accuracy / Grips

Duster - thanks for the link. Recoil - not worse than a .40 semi, why, I don't know. I just shoot a lot and if you want energy going out you must accept energy going back. Last year I started shooting the .375H&H Mgn and now a .308 is nothing... Just what you get used to. The small backstrap...

Shocking: Charter Arms Pitbull, Accuracy / Grips

Shot another cylinder full in rapid fire off target, totally controllable despite the small grips, BUT: Both panels cracked around the pin in the bottom. Pretty but useless, another fourty bucks down the drain!
