    Anyone know anything about ITAR??

    Hmm..maybe it is OK then.

If you were to move to a PRO-GUN state, which one?

Very true... Even buying a handgun in NJ is a pain in the ass:barf: Of course, NJ laws do not apply to the gangbangers.

If you were to move to a PRO-GUN state, which one?

Whatever you do...DO NOT move to Idaho. Shooting in the desert never having to visit a gun range, weekends in the mountains, awesome gunstores, and CCW virtually anywhere just sucks... I think the Brady camp has rated us an F+...totally unsafe to live here...you might get shot at!

    Anyone know anything about ITAR??

Yes, but from what I have heard, ITAR extends to bullets, brass, reloading equipment....even a screw.

    Anyone know anything about ITAR??

Here is my problem. I sold a set of reloading dies on Ebay. The buyer is in Switzerland! Does ITAR (international trafficking in arms) allow me to ship them to Switzerland? I hear a screw can be considered military equipment under ITAR. If I ship this item will men in black...

Could this also be a reason why 45 acp is so darn expensive?

Save your shot out brass...(berdan primed brass, cases that are split or rifle brass that has been fired too many times)...take it the scrap yard when you get a bunch...they pay primo prices for cartridge brass. NEVER throw brass away...it is too valuable...I usually get enough money to pay for...

Could this also be a reason why 45 acp is so darn expensive?

You have to buy the components in quantity... Going to Cabellas and picking up a bag of 100 bullets is not going to save you money. I usually buy my rifle bullets in a group buy 5,000 at a time (stock up for a few years of shooting). For handguns, I just shoot cast lead or plated...

Could this also be a reason why 45 acp is so darn expensive?

.45 ACP is cheap. People leave tons of brass laying in the desert or at indoor ranges (Impact guns in Boise sometimes lets me pick up all that my little heart desires:D) I just take the brass that people leave, clean it up, buy the components in bulk, and put it together on my 550B. I can...

    I just joined the NRA

I have no problem with the NRA's stance...if we DO give an inch, the antis WILL gain a mile. Think I am joking? Look at what happened in Brittain and Australia. The antigun crowd wants to take EVERY LAST GUN THAT YOU OWN! EVERY LAST ONE. :banghead: This gun is too accurate.. This gun...

    I just joined the NRA

Awesome. They are the reason we have our guns. Remember, anything the liberals hate is probably a good thing...and liberals HATE and FEAR the NRA. One of the reasons I became a life member:D

Gun class not required by my state - What'd I miss?

It is good to take a class even if not required. Use of force laws vary from state to state.

    Baby Bubba's got a Beretta -- and a license

Yet another article with no point whatsoever written by a retarded attention whoring liberal :barf: Illiniois would be a great state if it wasn't for Chicago. This gives me an idea:) I propose we give the liberals thier own state. That way they can live in thier own socialist utopia and...

    Taurus 85 Vs. S&W 642

Being that the price difference is not all that much, I would go with the S&W. Made in America by a company that pretty much invented the modern revolver as we know it today.

    S&W 500 magnum /357 magnum???

It would be one ginormous .357 though. I bet that you could feed some hot loads through that sucker too.

No Guns in the Wilderness? Are People Nuts? GRAPHIC!

Uh no.. The liberals would rather you be eaten. It must be because a human life is worth less than that of an animal or a criminal to them.

    S&w 28-2

I second that... You won't find anything that comes close to that quality these days for $429. Heck, offer him $400 cash...he will probably go for it.

    Old K Frame Smith

90% guns seem to be going from $300 to $400 on GunsAmerica. That's really the true test of value IMHO...what people are willing to pay. Still..for $200 I am not complaining.

    Cross-country Move With Guns

Put the guns cased and unloaded in the trunk of your car. You are protected by federal law. The Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986 to be specific. So long as you are passing through a state and the firearms are legal at your destination, local and state laws do not apply. Google this...

For plinking and fun? What to choose?

I'll repost this picture of my little .22 pistol and revolver collection: Colt Officer's Model (1935) S&W K22 Masterpiece (1948) S&W Model 63 Kit Gun (1977?) Ruger Mark I (1956) I would go for an older kit gun or even the new 317.

Buffalo Bore .45 colt standard ammo good for deer hunting??

If it is anything like thier 45-70 magnum loads, I would be cautious. You could always call them and ask what they recomend. Of course, this could be your excuse to buy a nice .44 magnum, like a S&W 629:evil:
