I've got 240 gr plated flatpoints, unique and large pistol mag and standard lp primers.
Does anyone have any ideas on loads. I have found one in my lee book for unique my only concern is which primer to use it does not say lp or lpm.
For a glock / taurus 1911 I have a bunch of 200 gr flat points hanging around. I worked up some loads previously but they were too light to cycle the action in my glock 30 they did however clear the barrel. I belive they were target loads.

I have some rounds I loaded with about 6 gr of 231 and a 158 plated at about 1100-1200 fps. I loaded them with mag primer per the winchester site ( they call for them on all 357 loads). I've heard from some people that I should be using standard primers what are your opinions and if i should use...
I can't find data anywhere for this load. I am using magnum primers I see loads for 158 gr lead and sp/fmj but they all vary nothing specifically in the lee manual for copper plated. I'm completely new to this so any help would be appreciated.
