Which sub-compact .40 would you get?

Thanks Rayden, I'll check out the HK before I buy this week. Looks pretty nice as well.

Which sub-compact .40 would you get?

True, the M&P is another contender... I borrowed a buddies G27 for a week and really liked how it disappeared. Very concealable. I assume only the Kahr would be more easily concealable out of the ones mentioned in the thread. I'm not in love with Glocks - they seems so blocky and utility-ish...

Which sub-compact .40 would you get?

Cz & Mk Wow, I hadn't looked closely at the CZ 2075 RAMI. That's a pretty cool gun. Anyone have experience with one? And those who like the MK40 over the PM40, what are the reasons? I assume the heavier gun will be nice for reducing recoil, that's a plus. But does the heaviness make it...

Which sub-compact .40 would you get?

I have a Sig P229 .40 and love it, but it's a little too big to carry concealed with my normal work attire.

Which sub-compact .40 would you get?

For concealed carry .40, what would you go with, and why? I have it narrowed down to these three: Springfield XD 40 sub-compact Glock 27 Kahr PM40 ...Or would you go with something else?

    kahr PM45(or -40) experience?

Me too I'm looking at the PM45 as well. Where I work I can't get away with carrying anything very big due to the work dress. I'd love to hear about the PM45 and 40 from anyone who owns them. Thanks.

Used Sig P6 (P225)...what do you think

Solid Deal IMO A good friend of mine got one from aimsurplus. It's a great piece and a solid deal IMO. I'm considering picking one up too after seeing his. Some wood grips would be right nice on the P6 too. Pretty slick.

2nd Range Report Kahr PM45 and others

Recoil? Thanks for the report. I am interested in the PM45. I'm wondering how bad the recoil was. Can you give me a feel for that?

What sidearm does the U.S. Military carry

9mm? Why do so many of the armed forces use 9mm? Only a few seem to use .40, and fewer use .45. -WingNut

    Why is .40S&W so popular?

Compromise vs Best of Both worlds So most of you feel it's not a real compromise (meaning middle of the road yields loss of the best aspects of the extremes) but rather it's truly the best of both worlds (realizing some of what makes the others great may be lost, but most of those are not)...

    Why is .40S&W so popular?

No, I really, really don't want to start some long argument between everyone's favorite caliber and its "stopping power". Let's not do that, ok? But I am truly curious as to why .40 caliber is currently so popular. If research dictates one can have maximized magazine capacity, less recoil...

What's wrong with the SIG Mosquito 22LR?

    Holy crap, dude!

What's wrong with the SIG Mosquito 22LR?

I see. Well, the main appeal for me with the Mosquito is that is has a similar form factor to my other handguns, so I thought it might lend to being a better practice gun. But, form factor doesn't matter if the gun doesn't work right. I just really liked the look and feel, and hoped it would be...

What's wrong with the SIG Mosquito 22LR?

I held one in the store today and it felt great. I know store feel is a lot different than actually using it. I haven't had a chance to shoot one yet, but reading online it sure has a bad rap. Does it really suck THAT much? I'd be surprised if a company like SIG wouldn't have addressed any...
