True, the M&P is another contender... I borrowed a buddies G27 for a week and really liked how it disappeared. Very concealable. I assume only the Kahr would be more easily concealable out of the ones mentioned in the thread. I'm not in love with Glocks - they seems so blocky and utility-ish...

I have a Sig P229 .40 and love it, but it's a little too big to carry concealed with my normal work attire.

For concealed carry .40, what would you go with, and why? I have it narrowed down to these three: Springfield XD 40 sub-compact Glock 27 Kahr PM40 ...Or would you go with something else?

Me too I'm looking at the PM45 as well. Where I work I can't get away with carrying anything very big due to the work dress. I'd love to hear about the PM45 and 40 from anyone who owns them. Thanks.

Solid Deal IMO A good friend of mine got one from aimsurplus. It's a great piece and a solid deal IMO. I'm considering picking one up too after seeing his. Some wood grips would be right nice on the P6 too. Pretty slick.

I have a Stoeger Cougar 8000 as well. It has been great and I really have no complaints at all. No failures ~1000 rounds. All good.
