My roommate recently had this problem on his Kimber. Crimson Trace suggested he turn the windage and elevation screws as far as they go in each direction, and then re-zeroing. His still didn't hold the zero, so they sent him a new grip. It has been fine ever since. Hope this helps.
I have a 6 1/2 inch barrel 500, the Hornady 300 & 350 grainers aren't that bad, it's more of a push than a snap, not really much worse than my 629. One handed shots aren't unpleasant either. :cool:
I bought some of the 20 rounders specifically to use on a bench with shooting bags. They are excellent, just like all the other Magpul products I own. :cool:

I picked up 3 boxes of Blazer Brass .45 ACP this evening for $14.97 each @ Wal-mart. I'm going back tomorrow to get some more, if there's any left. I haven't seen any in there in a long time.
I don't see the point unless you live on campus, and then your firearm is supposed to be kept with UAPD anyway. It shouldn't matter whether the UAPD approves it or not, although I suppose they have access to a great deal of relevant information about applicants that the sheriff's office doesn't...
