Saw one at a pawn shop for that much. It's a little beat up on the outside, with scratch marks but no rust. Seems to function fine and trigger is nice.
Would you get it if you were in my shoes?
Of these two AR manufacturers, which would you pick to buy if you had to choose? I know they're both respected AR makers, maybe better-regarded than say, Anderson or PSA, but not at the level of Daniel Defense, Spikes, etc.
Should this gun have any play at all between frame and slide? Does the fact that it's not rock-solid tight mean there's something wrong with it?
Those who own or have experience with this gun, please contribute. I would greatly appreciate it.
Found it today at a little pawnshop for $299. Put it on layaway. It's a Beretta made in Italy, so it can't be all bad? Specifically, it's a Beretta 1200FP in 12 ga.
I prefer a good semi-auto riot gun for HD. What I know about this gun: 6+1, 20 in. barrel. Recoil-inertia operated (not gas like...
Here is a pic I found. High Standard Sentinel .22LR revolver, model R-103. I'm a sucker for cheap and interesting guns so I went ahead and put it on layaway for $15. Total price was $129.99.
What do you think - fair deal?
Here is my Colt King Cobra. .357 Magnum, 4" barrel, stainless finish. How does this compare with the Smith & Wesson revolvers? What S & W model is the closest direct competitor to this gun?
I have an opportunity to own a Colt Woodsman. A private transaction with the seller asking $475.
I have attached pics of the same type of gun sold on Guns International by Cabela's Ft Worth for $1,099.
The one I'm looking at has the pencil 4" barrel and wood grips, too.
Does anyone...
Browning Buckmark Camper Micro with two mags and case. I gave them $135 cash and two 100-rd boxes of WWB 9mm bulk ammo I got as extras thrown in with my purchase of a G19 earlier. Fair deal?
Debating between an old Norinco 1911, known to be made of 5100 series forged steel (very hard) for frame and slide, or a newer 1911 by RIA or Metro Arms, with good customer service and warranty.
Budget is around $500.
Thinking about buying this locally FTF. This is the old style 10/22 with metal trigger guard and shiny stainless barrel. Comes with Leupold scope and black aftermarket synthetic stock. Three 10-rd mags, and two Ramline 30-rd mags. $300 is a good deal for this?
Upon closer inspection of...

Hunting feral hogs encouraged in Texas town
Hunting feral hogs may not be as popular as hunting deer or ducks during the holiday season, but with an estimated three million wild hogs in the...
I was at the pawn shop last night (Cash America) and saw a stock older10/22 for $169.99. It looked to be in pretty good shape (I'd say 90% or better), and even had the scope rail and a compact Bushnell .22 scope.
I put it on layaway. What do you think - a fair deal? I like the older 10/22s...
Which would you pick given the details:
Sig P228 West German. Like new. Has short trigger. Six mags.
Glock 19. Like new. Has night sights. Six mags.
Both FTF. Both $600.
Here is the Sig.
