    her first wooden bow!

Very nice. Almost makes me thinking about making another bow even though I have barely tried the one I made almost 12 years ago (ouch, can it really be that long ago  ).

    9mm lunacy!

Try some 95gr Magtech JFP through your CZ, a lot of people here get excellent results with it in their 9mm guns. I have loaded some 95gr also and it shoots pretty good in my CZ. Well over 1300 fps, snappy but in no way punishing recoil (snappy but soft might describe it), simply easy to shoot.

Hk 91 Flashhider groove trivia question

I'm pretty sure it's just BS. They can be used to screw the flashhider on and off to replace it with a blank adapter or possibly somy kind of rifle grenade adapter. The combination tool I have for my Ak-4 (Swedish G3) can be used by either using the nothes on the front or by using another...

    Lee Classic Cast Spitting Primers?

Ah, that might explain why some doesn't have any problem, while some of us do. Like you I also prime using other methods.

    Lee Classic Cast Spitting Primers?

Not sure what you do wrong, but I do the same. ;) Maybe not half, but 1 in 4 doesn't go down the tube like they're supposed to.

S&B 9mm Brass Hard to Prime??

YES! Haven't had problems priming S&B .38 or .357, but their 9mm simply sucks.

    Sellier & Bellot

I have shot thousands of S&B in both 9mm, .38 Spec and .357 mag (in decreasing amounts). Never had a primer that didn't go boom on the first try, except that time with my 686 when the screw that pushes on the hammerspring had backed out. Are you sure that's not what have happened? About S&B...

which do you shoot better, .22lr revolvers or autos?

I shoot my S&W 617 better then my Ruger KMK-512, much better trigger on the 617 despite having Volquartsen parts in the Ruger, and the grip angle on the Ruger simply don't work good for me. But had I been really serious about bullseye shooting I'd get a real competition pistol, for me the...

Sideways primer - case stuck in shellholder - help!

You can't count on anything reliably killing the priming compound. I don't bother. I can't count the numbers of primers I've crushed/put sideways etc that I have removed without any going off, but be careful and go slow nonetheless. Just realized Bushmaster forgot to mention hearing...

45acp reloads using Vit. 310 Powder???

Get VV's reloading manual: http://www.lapua.com/Reloading%20guide%20for%20centerfire%20cartridges%201-2004%20versio%2024.3.pdf N310 is their fastest powder, and IMO not that suitable for most of your calibers. It might work for light target loads, but for most use it's too fast. N340 is...

Sideways primer - case stuck in shellholder - help!

What Bushmaster says. You can mistreat a primer a lot without it going bang, just do it slowly...

Starting powder for 9mm and 38sp with lead slugs?

I use 5.5-5.6gr N340 both for 9mm with 124gr jacketed and .38 with 158gr. The .38 load is pretty stout, 5.6gr N340 is the listed max for a 158 gr Speer HP. 9mm is also on the upper range, but both work just fine for me in my CZ-75 and S&W 686 with various bullets.

What kind of camera do you use?

Digital cameras does get faster all the time, one of the bigger digital system cameras can be as fast as most film models. I bought a Canon Ixus-430 (Powershot S410) this spring as it was fairly small, 3x zoom (36 mm - 108 mm), 4 Mpixel, good optics, and not too slow (for me). I do wish it...

Someone tell me more about the Ching Sling

Better then a ordinary sling for carry? Not really. The middle sling might need to be slid either way depending if you want to carry barrel up or down. Better then a ordinary sling when actually shooting? YES! Can loop up real quick, and it will work as a shooting support, but of course...

Pretty Cool - Online Machine Shop

I thought their program worked just fine at least for the relatively simple detail I tried, but you have to think in terms of machining, not just what the finished product should be. Unfortunately the part I tested on would be more expensive then what I would be willing to pay, but had I been...

Pro2000 at 150,000 rnds. Detailed Report!

Great report! So far I have only loaded around 5000 rounds or so in my Pro-2000 (haven't really counted). .38/357, 9mm and a little 308Win. In general it have worked just great. So far I have only used loose primers that I've loaded into the strips that came with the press (APS strips isn't...

    Grips for Smiths

I have a new S&W 617 6" waiting for me to get the license for it so I can go pick it up, the intention is to set it up so it's as close as possible to my 6" 686. On my (square butt) 686 I have a Miculek grip that works perfect for me, and I was thinking about getting the same grip (though...

    Ross Seyfried

Vapentidningen just announced that he would start writing for them, starting in next number. Maybe some connection here? :neener: For those who don't know, Vapentidningen (free translation:Weapon magazine) is a swedish gun magazine, the best there is IMO, but speaking/reading swedish helps...
