When I recently renewed my subscription to handloader and rifle magazine they let on that Ross would no longer be writing for them. It sounds like his articles in the next few issues will be his last for them, and probablythe last few issues I will read. I think they will be hurting without Ross. I will be canceling my subscription after Seyfried leaves.

Hi Ross!

Good to have you aboard...

Sorry, it was too good to pass up...

I let my subscription run out and havnt renewed it yet did they say why ? He leaving i always enjoyed his stuff

Vapentidningen just announced that he would start writing for them, starting in next number. Maybe some connection here? :neener:

For those who don't know, Vapentidningen (free translation:Weapon magazine) is a swedish gun magazine, the best there is IMO, but speaking/reading swedish helps a lot. ;)

The difference...

between handloader and others is that the guys that write for handloader actually hunt and shoot. If something's crap, they say it's crap

I think a lot of other "experts" do most of their shooting from a keyboard

I have a lot of respect for Ross, who is both a good writer and highly qualified through experience.

But frankly, both "Rifle" and "Handloader" are excellent publications that feature a number of great writers. They both offer information and insights that aren't found elsewhere.

And I will continue to read both of them.

I enjoyed his writing for years but have no intention of canceling my subscription if he leaves.
That magazine is one of my only salvations from reading about what the best 9mm is this month.
