    NEF revolvers?

Before I get this thing home - can I dry fire it? Or do I need snap caps?

    NEF revolvers?

Well, you guys talked me into it. :D Now I finally have a .22! Total was $159 out the door, but I can't pick it up until the 13th. :( I don't think this thing was ever used for more than a brick of ammo, there's a few little rust spots on the backstrap but otherwise it looks almost new.

    Anybody buying the classic Smiths?

The only "classic" smith and wessons that were ever made were made 50+ years ago. What they sell today is mearly a copy in the same way everybody copies the old Colt SAA.

Tell my Dad why .22LR/.25ACP is no good for SD

For some reason my Dad got the idea that he wants "a little .25" or maybe a .22 for a house gun. I keep telling him he needs to get a little pink dress to wear before he shoots it. His only reasoning is "I can hide it in my back pocket" and "If I have to use it, it will be up against the guy's...

Lead bullets... gone the way of the Dodo? Why????

Hmmm...I just came home with a box of Remintgon .38 special 158g LRN cartridges - the only .38s they had other than Blazers - which I think were LRN too. This is from a store that never had any good ammo selection before, and now of course it's much worse due to the shortages.

    NEF revolvers?

Ahh...so would I be correct in assuming that if it's branded as NEF, rather than H&R, it's probably newer than an H&R that looks the same? This thing really looks almost new, except there's a tad bit of wear on the cylinder where you load the ammo. The bore looked like new...without a...

    NEF revolvers?

I just got back from the gun shop where I fondled a nice little NEF 9 shot .22LR with I think a 4" barrel. It looked like it was in almost new condition, and they only want $149 for it. I would have bought it, but I didn't even know NEF made revolvers. Are they any good? Is there a reason...

How far does my rental property line extend?

I lease an industrial shop for my business in a huge building shared with a few other shops and a big parking lot. I know that, for defense reasons, I'm allowed to have, conceal, and use a gun inside my business without any kind of CC permit. (I don't have one) What I'm wondering is, when I...

How much are you willing to pay for range fees?

Does Open carry protect an accidental CC exposure?

Yep, and then I get to buy more guns after I sue their dumb asses. I welcome the fight, because I refuse to act like, or be treated like a criminal.

Does Open carry protect an accidental CC exposure?

Only to someone with a mental illness.

Does Open carry protect an accidental CC exposure?

I think some of you really need to stop acting like CRIMINALS...guns are legal and so is carrying them, in every state. If someone sees my gun I HOPE they call the cops just so I can make them look stupid. If I offend anyone in the process all the better. The only reason you need to HIDE a...

    Drivel from an anti-rights co-worker

Just explain to him in slow, simple language that he's an idiot. End of story.

    Oregon Castle Doctrine??

Aren't those basically the same thing? As I understand it we have no duty to retreat and we can shoot at any unauthorized visitor to your house.

    Why Do You Own Guns?

    1. 'cause blowin' up stuff is fun. 2. Some people need to be shot, so I need to be ready.

    Ill Informed Media Strikes Again......

No, most do not, except for the newer Smiths/Taurus with the lock...but that isn't really a "safety" either. On a "traditional" revolver the only safety is the fact that you have to cock it first, or a heavy DA trigger pull. ...although I doubt this case has anything to do with a revolver...

    Cast Bullet Composition

The only bullets that are pure lead are those made to shoot in old fashioned black powder revolvers/rifles. .44 Magnum cast bullets can have a range of different elements, but are mostly lead, with around 5-10% tin and antimony added to harden the bullets. Sometimes they even have arsenic.

Has anyone had to sue UPS for firearms damage?

Oh my god, I have so much HATE for UPS I don't even know where to start! I ship and receive around 2000 packages a year. I used to mostly use UPS, until they smashed a third package, and, surprise surprise, refused to pay the insurance. Since switching to Fedex and USPS, they have MUCH better...

Should I take down my sign?

Just something I was noticing on the sign in question last night - the manufacturer's brand name. I'm thinking if these signs were REALLY a bad thing....that manufacturer would have already been sued multiple times. Right? Another thing, I am installing cameras and a digital recorder, so if I...
