    Need for high capacity magazines!

High-capacity magazines are not NEEDED for SD. They're nice to have.

    Gun books

The Rifle in America, by Phil Sharpe. Gives a nice picture of a more innocent America. No 2nd Amendment mentioned anywhere in the book. No ARs, CCWs, etc. It wasn't an issue. And hunting was still for food.

    MANswers and Deadliest Warrior

No. Go to Pfiefer's website. Zeliska is listed. It's expensive, but you can buy it. Unacceptable.

    What breed for home security?

It has to be visual (he'll be sitting in the yard), and this dog looks mean. I just don't want him to BE mean.

    MANswers and Deadliest Warrior

We could write the network. But I have written authors, etc, before, and they generally do not respond. I'm just posting this so that anyone who is promised to be told a firearms fact at the start of the show should just change the channel and Google it.

    What breed for home security?

I don't want a pitbull, and most of the GSDs around here are in poor condition or have congenital defects. Would an Amstaff x Bulldog mutt like this guy be OK or just disobedient? It needs to be trainable and not paranoid of strangers. Also needs to come from the pound or a shelter (no...

    MANswers and Deadliest Warrior

It's ridiculous. The sniper match was unfair and silly, the grenade test was performed on a washing machine for one grenade and in a room for the other, firearm reliability does not play a factor, neither does... These shows are terrible! I think they need to do more research.

Does Hollywood even try to get it right?

It's possible. You need to fire it in outer space. Maybe rocket boosted bullets? Maybe a sail to catch the solar wind? But then there's no air, so no Mach. So it's impossible.

    Toddlers and home defense storage

It's not a good idea to leave guns around children, because it's more likely that they will mess around with them than the likelihood that there will be a violent break-and-enter.

Cartridges of the World is missing a few oldies, though.

    MANswers and Deadliest Warrior

There's these two documentaries on SPIKE TV called MANswers and Deadliest Warrior, and they make ridiculous mistakes all the time, but in a recent episode, "What's the biggest handgun you can buy?", they called a 357 Magnum a 357 SuperMag when it was a standard 357, and they said it fires...

    What's the best gun ever?

^^^I knew that would happen. C'mon, the one you have when you need it? What about the other 7 billion people on this earth? No gun-wit, please.

    What's the best gun ever?

What's the best gun for all situations and people? You can pick one model of firearm. It has to be able to be fired by one person. You have to factor in every possible climate, situation, and use, and also availability of parts, ammo, etc, and how likely people are to encounter said...

what's more acurate, shooting a handgun traditional, or sideways

From the Liberian Civil war. All sideways. I guess untrained troops don't really know what to do. Same with movie producers and gangsters. Keep in mind that many people in Third World countries don't have a clue how to operate a gun. In memoir I read the author held...
