:confused: Does anyone know if you can shoot 3" 500 NE out of a 3 1/4" 500 NE gun? I can't seem to get an answer out of any of the normal resources. Thanks in advance. All input is greatly appreciated!

I am in the market for a double rifle chambered in 3" 500 NE and was looking at either the Krieghoff or the Merkel. I am looking for any feedback, both positive and negative, on either rifle. I am also open to any suggestions someone may have on other manufacturers in the same price...

For what its worth, I personally will only use nosler tips on thin skinned game like axis and whitetail. You'll get a nice exit wound on these types of animals, but this bullet lacks the ideal penetration on thicker skinned animals. On large game, I will use nothing but Barnes X or a...

If at all possible, try to do a public hunt as a guided hunt for Turkey in Florida is quite pricey. You'll find prices for guided hunts anywhere from $900 to $1600. This is because Florida is the only place in the country that has Oceola turkeys, which are apparently coveted by wing shooters...

I once saw footage of a 400 lb. boar and a tiger dueling it out. After about 10 minutes and wounds on both sides, amazingly the animals each went their separate way. I gained much respect for the boar that day. Who'd have thunk it.!

I think it is more of a vulnerability issue. We rely so much upon our eyesight that when it is pitch dark, we all feel somewhat helpless.
