I just got new grips for my CZ-52 from Omega and they're beautiful! It's amazing what some palmswells can do for this gun. The material is grey laminate in case you're wondering. If you're looking for custom made grips definitely keep him in mind. http://www.czgrips.us/index.htm
This CZ-52 was hard chromed by Classic Arms. I've done a trigger job myself (very easy), filed the magazine latch for easier operation, installed a Harrington competition firing pin, hardened rollers, Federal 9mm threaded conversion barrel, Wolff 16lb recoil spring, deburred the firing pin channel, and installed a manually operable slide catch. Next on the list is a ghost ring sight.
These pistols can be had so cheap, it seems silly not to pick one up as a project gun.
