Glock 20 SF is on my hip whenever I'm outside with my dogs…May be adding a G29 soon…
Sure would be nice if they came out with a G19/23 sized 10mm :banghead:

I have always been a 1911 guy and foolishly sold my Delta Elite a year after Colt came out with them. Slow and reluctant when it comes to the Glock but put this together over the last two weeks............let me know what you think!

Well hoof I'd never say no to a 10mm but that right there ain't my cup of tea I do like the mini red dot on there though

It's funny how the 1911 crowd embraces full race pistols but the "Glock owners" think it's sacreligious...........

I shot IPSC for a number of years and really enjoy a nice comp gun. Just kinda fun to play and the G20 is so versatile. I have multiple barrels in 357sig, 40 and 10mm and with a twist of a screwdriver and the pull of a barrel it strips back to a "stock" pistol.

Ever shot a comp gun?
 
I've never shot a comp gun, it's not something economically feasible to build here.

It's the only Glock I have. The Glock was an accidental choice for me, I was not ever a Glock fan, or a fan of any plastic pistols in general.

I used to carry a Security Six, for a bit over 20 years. In the last six years or so I got involved with IDPA, and bought a few semi-auto pistols for the sport, in the calibers from 9mm to .45 ACP, but no 10mm. At that time, I looked at anything with a plastic frame with great suspicion and much reservation, especially when it came to carry.

After shooting the semi-autos for a few years, I decided I had to have a 10mm, and the only choice for me in this country was Glock. I got one, used it a while, got familiar with it, and started overcoming my prejudices.

Last year, I started looking at the semi-autos I had and thought that it wouldn't be a bad idea to retire the Ruger, and maybe wear some plastic.

And that's how I ended up with the 10mm.

A big factor in the choice was that the 10mm recoil handling is very close to .357 , it fits my hand like it was custom made, and I can shoot it as well as my Ruger. I like the fact that I can carry two speedloaders worth in one mag, and have another mag on the belt if I need it.

No hoof I haven't shot a comp gun I just don't care about the look of the comp on the front :scrutiny: I know that's shallow but hey it's what I like also do you have to alter the frame

On a Glock the comp is screwed on the barrel. KKM supplied the barrel threaded to the specs supplied from carver (comp and funnel maker) but it left too large a gap between the face of the slide and the back of the comp and since the Carver comp is not designed with a setscrew the normal thought would be locktite to hold it steady. Since I am a gunsmith and want the pistol to be interchangeable (multiple barrels). I turned the shoulder back at the end of the threads and machined a groove for a rubber o-ring to lock the comp in place. Works very well!

There is no frame alteration yet but I will probably flatten the hump at the back/bottom of the grip to be more to what I am used to (1911 flat mainspring housing) and stipple the grip.

I am joining the 10MM Club

I own a Glock 20 and looking at the Witness Elite Limited in 10MM and than buy the .40 barrel. I would REALLY like the STI Perfect 10 but that is too rich for my blood.
 
Also the only glock I own is a 20, I wouldn't have one if it wasn't for the 10mm.

My contribution
1. G20sf with LW6.6" barrel -True Glow Sights with a reflex Sight mounted on a polymer rail over top of the sights.

2.Mech-Tech 10mm with flip up sights and a True Glow 40mm Red Dot in the middle with front mounted lazer.

3.G29sf with a LW 4.6" 2 port barrel and 15 round mags with adapter sleeves to fit it. Its my EDC in a left hand shoulder holster ( I ride a MC 90% of the time ).

4. Dillion XL650 set up for 10mm.

I have pictures don't know how to put them on here.

Azimuth that colt gold cup delta has me drooling along with that grizzly oh my those are some nice guns

Nice guns guys love seeing the pics so hoof you didn't have to alter the slide did you I would like a mini red dot on my 20sf but I don't want to get the slide milled
