I just ordered a box of 110gr +P+ .38special Winchester Rangers along with my order of 127gr 9mm.

It was a spur-of-the-moment purchase, as I had no idea Winchester offered Rangers in .38special.

Has anyone had any experience with Rangers in this particular caliber?

Thanks.

Where did you order it from? Is it also law enforcement only like the 127 g 9mm? I've never used the .38 ( didn't know they made it). The 9mm is hot, very hot. (by that I mean good, very good).

I've shot about 150 of them through my 357's.

They have very little recoil and are as accurate as any thing else.

But don't expect the Ranger T series bullet. The bullet looks like those found in the WWB 125gr 38+p load you buy at Wal Mart for $11 a box.

WWB 38+p = 945 FPS
Ranger 38+P+ = 1155 fps

Well... damn it.

That's what I put the order in for; I already have a few boxes of Corbon 110gr +P ammunition.

I just tossed him an email to change the .38specials to 9mm 147 grainers.
They cost the same, hopefully he hasn't shipped yet.

Thanks JeepDriver for the heads up!
