Could someone with the tools required be kind enough to post detailed pictures of your -

government model 1911's :

Slide - Front on (with focal point being the hole for the guide rod and barrel)
From the back of the same points (slide upsidedown, as if resting on the sights and picture taken from above)

Barrel
and an assembled picture detailing the way the bushing mates with the slide.

Also, one last picture of the barrel bushing itself the way it mates with the barrel. (I need a good picture of the notch side of the bushing)

I'd be very grateful, and I hope that post was clear.
 
Hmm.. Haven't found pictures of all that I needed..

Mostly what I'm wondering is what changed between the time my pistol was made, and the trip it took to Briley. Also wondering if I can put in a 5" barrel with a normal bushing rather than the spherical bushing.

All of this, of course, being an attempt to have a concealed carry option without having to figure out how to hide the 2 inch compensator.

I must say, though, I think I can.
