I posted about this gun last week. Thought I would show some pictures also.

Lower is mfg by Mega in Tumwater, WA.

Parts were from Olympic Arms

Upper is a 16" A2, assembled and headspaced by Olympic Arms.

Grip is a Samco G27, this feels alot nicer than the one supplied in the kit.

Overall, I absolutely love this gun. Gun appears to be pretty accurate. Everything is tight, upper/lower fit is great.

Chipperman,

The Colt is a Custom Gun done by John Bettendorf in Sandy, Or.

Here is what has been done to it:

MMC Adjustable Rear Sight
Heinie Front Sight
Serrate Top of Slide
Front Cocking Serrations
Lower and Flare Ejection Port
Fitted Barrel - Match Bushing
Barrel Throated and Crowned
Tension and Radius Extractor
Carry Bevel Package
Tighten Slide Frame
Brown High Grip Beaver
Brown Tactical Ambi-Safety
Stipple Front Strap - High Cut
Match Trigger Crisp 4#
Ahrends Custom Tactical Grips
Full Length Guide Rod
Wolf Springs
French Grey Brushed Finish

It's a great gun, but for the cost I could build 2+ AR-15's.

Thats a great looking rifle youve got there. If you dont mind me asking could you tell me a little about the lower? Like how much did you pay? Whats the quality like? And do they sell stripped or complete lowers? Im in washington state and ive never heard of that company before.

Both are nice! Of course, everyone decides to start building and showing off AR's while my lower is on order.

Mega lowers are being sold on the Equipment Exchange board at www.ar15.com along with Stinger lowers by the same person. Haven't heard anybody say anything bad about either, especially the price! I believe the Mega's are under $100 and the Stinger's are $89 still.

I also think the Mega lower is the only one with stippling/checkering on the front of the lower in front of the magazine well. And the "Atomic" type symbol is nice too.
