Wait, are they saying the Varmints are Tactical now? I bet they're just buying the airsoft stuff...not the real deal. Those tiny little tac vests and pouches will never hold up when the SHTF
personally I want one, but the muzzle brake should be optional or on the side, if it is "tactical" then the brake would throw gas in the view of the scope? what is tactical about not being able to see your target after the shot???
I'd be first in line to sign the petition to ban the use of the word "tactical" in advertising guns and knives (...and key chains, and Barbies, and camouflage hats, and sporks, etc.), but that's not why I created the thread. We just have to accept that this kind of marketing works for your average ding-dong mall ninja and move on.
I handled one today and really liked it. I was expecting it to weigh more. It could easily be used in the field hunting. The foreend is also smaller than you would think despite it being triangular. Its not bulky at all. Dont care for muzzlebrakes though.
I shot a deer with a 300mag that was braked. Had never shot it outside ear muffs at the range. It was very bad on the ears. I didnt realize they were that bad. My ears rang for hours. I traded it the next day.
