id really like to but i just dont have the time at the moment with a full time job and family.

if i was single with no kids, id definitely do it.

Finally had time to clean off the cosmoline(grease) today.

Spent half an hour on planning.

Pre fitted the barrel, bipod and magazine.

I need to run the barrel through a lathe to bore it about 3/4 diameter
to make room for the 10/22 barrel to slide through it.

Need to mill out the Bren lower receiver so the 10/22 trigger can drop right in
and I can get access to the 10/22 magwell

I dont plan on using the torched receiver parts. I plan on using sheet metal to reconstruct the receiver and just weld it until it fits the 10/22

Need to grind out the slag from the torch cuts.

Add a hinge to the receiver and side wall of the Bren so I can easily take out the 10/22

Plasti dip all the wood

Paint the rest of the gun flat black

All of those great pics and it never even went bang. Why? Nice looking gun though.

i have range vids on the first post.

ive been busy building ...........

here's one with a Ruger 10/22 M14 EBR

Why does your P90 stock have a mag holder for a Stanag magazine? That makes no sense at all.

Not trying to steal your thunder but I bought a used stock. Like an L96 stock.
how did you dremel the inside to get the barrel and everything to sit flush and be stable?

would it be too much to ask to see the inside of one of your masterpieces? haha

I just want to know how you get so many 10/22 and 796 (will be my choice) barreled actions. Do you have piles and piles of original stocks behind your house? Not to mention sights, mags, studs, take down screws, etc...

So I finally got to see a bunch of those infamous black rifles. They do not look so frightening to me. I do love my 10-22 though. I would also like one in stainless synthetic if I did not own mine already. Thanks for the photos.

Had to chime in to say great work, defconskylude. There's a lot of exotic guns I have no practical use for but want anyway, and this seems like a cool way to own a plinking version of said guns.

Just curious, would you mind estimating the total cost of one of these mods, say, the FS2000 (just because I like it a lot), including your labor time?

thanks. its an awesome collection for a hobby.

the FS2000 was about $70 for the stock itself plus $250 for the 10/22. so its $320 total.
took me about 1.5 hours to dremel out the stock to make it fit.
i havent had time to work on the trigger linkage yet but it would probably take another 2-3 hours to do the
trigger linkage since i have to figure out the bends.

so maybe 3-4 hours total to complete it.

although i dont plan on selling or making these for the public.

i simply just dont have extra time to do these since i do have a full time job and family time.

i forgot the brand L96 stock i have but there's a plastic skeleton inside that i just dremeled off to make sure
i can get access to the magwell of the Marlin XT-22.

i created brackets for the front and rear action screws to keep it stable.

ill be doing a video of the internals on a couple of stocks and explain my cuts and brackets i had to do.

just look out for it on my youtube channel. i just need to find some time to do it
