I have heard that such a kit exists but haven't seen it myself. I am probably looking in all of the wrong places, but if anybody has any info on one (particularly personal experience) I would appreciate any useful info, thanks.

a 22 kit for an XD.45 or a Glock 19 would fit my needs. But id bet that finding one for the glock is more likely.

edit:
I have seen the advantage arms kit. However at $250 im better off just buying a separate used .22 pistol. is there any GOOD reason to bother with a conversion kit?

I had the AA kit for my 19 briefly. It helps in practicing trigger pull, but I didn't like how it changes the weight and balance of the gun.

If all you want is a .22 LR plinker, I'd recommend buying a separate piece.

9x19,

How accurate is the AA kit off the bench?

Where did you get the G17 lower to "dedicate" to the AA kit?

Need Advantage Arms, Inc. phone number

Can anyone give me the phone number and snail address for Advantage Arms, Inc.? I can't get to their web site from where I am.

I had the AA kit for my G-22, I sold it with the gun.

Use hot ammo. It performs better with stingers. One small problem I had was getting hot pieces of lead on my hands when I didn't wear gloves.

As stated above, the feel takes some getting used to. Glocks are lightweight to begin with, and when you switch out the stainless slide for an aluminium one, it's even more so. Honestly I like the feel of the Ciener on my Kimber better.

Me thinks that the Advantage Arms .22 conversion kits are just for plinking. A decent grouping or accuracy can be expected but not match or target accuracy. They are quite fun too especially with the cheap ammo.

How does the Ciener compare to the Advantage Arms? It's $50 less and you can get 15rnd mags.

I've have a Ciener unit for my G19 along with Marvel 1911 and CZ Kadet conversions. And IMO even if the Ciener (Glock conversion) was free and had 100 round mags it would still be a piece of junk.

I like the concept of conversion kits but would go with AA for the Glock.
