I can find very little load data for the 243 Win. & these powders. Does that mean it doesn't work very well in this chamber? I didn't get much info about bullet weight for a 9 1/8" twist barrel from my other post so I grabbed a box of 65gr V-Max & I will give star working my way up in weight.

I am using a lee 2.2 cc dipper of BL-C(2) with good results with a hornady 58gr V-max. I think 2.2 cc is about 35 grains. I have not measured the velocity for that combo but 2.1cc with a 55gr bullet gives 3170 fps. I haven't tested higher than 2.2 cc since I am happy with moderate velocities. The gun is a Stevens 200 model with 22 inch barrel.

IMO both BL-C(2) and H335 are too fast for use in the .243. Like said above, 4350 is probably a better choice or even 4831 for the heavier bullets.

Hodgdon's website has data for BL-C(2) for 65gr bullets, but no data for H335. I would think that means Hodgdon does not recommend H335 for that bullet and caliber combo. I've tried IMR 4064 for 65gr. bullets in .243 Win. Results were ok, but I've had much better results with 100gr. bullets and IMR 4831/Hybrid 100V.
