Try the Prvi Partisan bullets from Graf's.
I've used them 100gr in .243, 100gr in .257, 150gr and 165gr in .30 cal and 150gr in .311" Most are 1.5-2.0moa give the gun and load will do so.
All were "ok" for accuracy and game performance for deer is good. On sale they are about half what the various bonded and 1/4 what the partitions run.
If you hunt elk,ect with a Nosler Partition, the Partisan's in the same weight will make a good "practice" round.
I was getting ~1.25moa from my Custom M98 in .257Roberts this afternoon with the 100gr .257 Prvi Partisan's. Same load with a Sierra GameKing got .7moa for 5-shots. But, at 100yds both will kill a 100lb deer....just as dead....
(45.0gr of IMR4350 @ 2,980fps. Winchester brass and LRP.).
With the .270, you can load with Varget, IMR4064, or H4895 and get 90%+ of the normal velocity but 3/4 the cost in powder. Most deer won't be able to tell the difference....
