I was going to bid on a 3" Taurus model 941 22mag on Gunbroker last night and the seller had deleted the add.
Any one out there familiar with the 3" version? When they were made? All I see now are 2",4" and 5". I like the idea of this particular model and already have 22mag friends for it to hand out with.

Looking for replies from folks who have experience with this model.

I have one. When I first got it I had to send it back to Taurus because it had a bad ejector. They fixed it. I also found that it shoots way high for me, so I just pulled the adjustable sights off of it and had a gunsmith bob the hammer. My thinking is to make a DAO revolver out of it with a little extra barrel.

I gave it to a lady I know to keep in her nightstand. If I get it back soon I might use it for an IWB carry piece.

Overall I say it's not a bad revolver. It shoots .22wmr, which I like, and it goes blam every time. I wouldn't want you shooting at me with it.

I bought it back in the late 80's, btw. If they started making them again I'd be tempted to buy another one. 2" is too short, 4" is too long. 3" is perfect, IMO.
