What are all of your thoughts IMR4064 or VARGET 150rg & 165gr bullet?

150gr + Varget

In my wife's DPMS Panther LR308 she found that the Hornady 150gr fmj btsp bullet being pushed with 44 gr of Varget is very accurate. Bencmark is also very good for accuracy with that bullet.

Varget works very well in that weight range. I shoot 165s and 168s with varget in 308. I noticed varget likes to be compressed a little.

This is out of my LR-308 also with a 18" barrel.

I use mostly 168 gr and 175 gr bullets over Varget in my .308 and 30-06.

Varget doesn't like to get lonely in the case. Full case loads seem to perform better than any below 9o-95% case fill. In my .308 a little "crunch" doesn't seem to be a problem with the 168's
