Someone laying down "sniper rifle" specs like that, then questioning whether or not the M1A is semi-auto? Bizarre. Then confusion followed by a comment like a garand can't penetrate chinese clothing. HUH?

eh? I never said the garand, i said it's carbine... apparently it couldn't penetrate the chinese thick winter clothing in the north korean conflict... and the reason why i said it "looked" semi-automatic (the m1a), is b/c someone recommended it to me, and when I looked it up, I was just trying to point out that, it didn't pass one of my major requirements...
for the 3rd time (i think) price was like #9... but isn't important really. I've got plenty of time to save up and buy a high quality gun, no need to start pinching pennies, and not buy what i want... and chrome barrel isn't necessary, although it would be nice

ouhhhhh.... that looks like a rem 700, but how did you get the DBM? how much would that cost to buy or modify it?

It is a GA Precision custom action. GAP 7000 action. The DBM is a Badger Bottom metal setup, uses AICS Magazines (I have a 10 rounder also)
This rifle is about $3600 with the options I have on it, USO Glass is about another $2500..
