are there any companies that make an affordable press to reload for 410 shotshells getting daughter started shooting a 410 shotgun and ammo is a bit expensive so looking for info any help would definitely be appreciated thanks in advance.

I never had a press for reloading .410 shotshells, just made up some simple tools for depriming and re-priming, scoops for powder and shot, ww wads seat with ease and over shot wad cards rather than a crimp.
Worked well for me for many years.

I have the MEC 600. I think that is the model. It cost a little over $100 and works fantastic.

I have considered the option of buying just a few tools like you mentioned seen a video on you tube one time were they went to sears and got a few tools to reload with and loaded all there shotgun shells with it.

Look for or advertise for a used Mec 600 jr in local penny pincher type papers. They can be had for as little as $50. Old or new model, doesnt matter unless rusted.

The MEC 600 Jr and the MEC 650 Progressive are very good reloading presses. I have been using a 600 for almost 14 years now, very happy with it.

Not sure what you mean by affordable...

Hornady makes a very nice shotshell press in .410, (and it's $100 more in .410than in other gauges!)

Hornady 366 loader

Very reliable operation. Nicely machined parts. If you're going to be reloading a lot of .410, you might consider this one.

would probably not reload enough to justify a huge expense so a used mec is probably a decent option for me anyway.

The 410 is not the best choice in a starter gun IMO. An auto loading 20ga is, with screw in chokes. Cheap 410's are normally full choke. 1/2oz shot & full choke is not easy to hit with, even for an adult. As the hunter gets older, the 20ga can do many things. Look for one that will also handle 3" shells.

Remo-99 - Could you provide a little more info on how you reload 410 shells? I love simplicity. Thanks.
